Anyone who adores glitter and gold will love this wedding – Henry and Samantha had a stunning affair on the lawn of Carillon and a ceremony inside the Meeting House. The perfect mix of greenery and beach, this Carillon Beach 30A wedding encompasses all aspects of our coast. We reached out to Samantha and Henry to get their story:
“Henry and I met while we were both in college. While each out with friends at a local establishment waiting for drinks, we ended up next to each other and started chatting. After talking for a bit, Henry and I exchanged numbers. We began communicating the following day and quickly became fast friends, the rest, as they say, is history!
We took a trip to California in the spring of 2015, which included a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway, as well as stops in Monterrey, San Francisco, and Napa Valley. During one of our stops in Rutherford, California, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Auberge du Soleil. After brunch we took a tour of the grounds which included several vineyards and panoramic views of Napa Valley. During our tour by a lush vineyard, Henry got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Growing up on the Panhandle, I spent many warm days on the beaches of 30A. The area has always felt like home to me and holds a special place in my heart. The first time I took Henry on a trip with me to Carillon, he immediately loved it as well. After becoming engaged, we talked about various places we could potentially get married and none of those felt more appropriate than a Carillon Beach 30A Wedding.”
Samantha and Henry incorporated a variety of things into their big day, including music from Miami where they currently reside, and their favors were Strawberry Wine, homemade by her great Uncle by hand.
