About the Owner
Personal Bio: Heather was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Mass Media Communications. She interned her senior year of college at Walt Disneyworld Resort. This is where she found her love for special events. After graduation, Heather worked for 3 years in Tallahassee in ticketing, house management & special events for the fine arts. She moved to the Emerald Coast in 2005 to plan weddings for the town of Seaside. In the spring of 2012, Heather opened Defining Moments Weddings & Events, and offered full-service wedding and special events planning for the 30-A, Destin and Sandestin area.
Something I Would Like People to Know About Me: I love what I do! My father had a complete zest for life and a passion for his work in radio. He always encouraged me to do what I love, so I would never work a day in my life!

If I had an extra $100, I would: Go clothes and shoe shopping (my weakness)

Five Things Most People Do Not Know About Me: 1. I was a figure skater for 13 years (competitive and instructor) 2. I have been a huge San Francisco 49ers fan since I was 7 years old, 3. I have 2 cats that I just adore: Boo & Linus 4. My husband and I follow the traditional gift-giving guides for anniversaries 5. I worked at Disneyworld my whole senior year of college in Entertainment & Guest Relations.
