About the Owner
Personal Bio: (Leslie) I’m happily married to my best friend! I’m “mom” to three of the funniest kids on Earth… They are my greatest accomplishment EVER! I’m the owner of Flowers By Milk & Honey and Co-Owner of Bijoux & RSVP Event Rentals. I love all things artistic, wine, quiet times by myself, learning something new and the fact that God’s grace covers me every single day.
(Kaitlyn) I have a background working in various creative capacities as well as clinical social work. Presently, I divide my time between floral design and serving as the Creative Director of the church I attend. I absolutely love having the opportunity to work both creatively and with people – merging two of greatest passions. My husband, Harbor, and I moved to this area to be closer to family and we hope to have a family of our own some day. In the meantime, I spoil my awesome cat, Matilda.
My Favorite Quote: “Love can tear you apart, but if you are lucky it can also put you back together again.” – The Wonder Years
Something I Would Like People To Know About Me: I obsess about life in general – work, kids, marriage. I’m always looking for balance and making sure that all parts of my life sync up.
Something I Would Like People To Know About My Business: I’m “big picture”-driven. I love details and I’m good at them, but for me it’s the overall feeling and outcome that matters.
If I Had An Extra $100, I Would Do This With It: In all honesty, probably spend it on my kids.
Where I Grew Up: Born in New Orleans, moved to Hattiesburg, MS at age 9, moved to Washington State at 18.
I Would Vote For Myself As “Most Likely To”: Be at Target with some sort of Starbucks in my hand!
Five Things Most People Do Not Know About Me: 1. Public speaking scares me more than death (to large groups) 2. I value alone time 3. I never thought I wanted kids – until I had them 4. I’m the baby of my family and my oldest brother is 81! 5. I used to own a ceramics art studio.
