Rosemary Beach Town Hall Wedding
We are kickin’ off this week with a gorgeous Rosemary Beach Town Hall Wedding that you won’t want to miss. Ben + Mallorie’s big day was nothing short of perfect – from the outpouring of love and support from all their family and friends to their tiny fur baby Daisy stealing the show, everything played out flawlessly. Before we share the photos + video, get to know the couple a bit:
How did you and Ben meet?
We met in Huntington, WV while we were in grad school at Marshall University. We were both at a place called the Union Pub and one of his friends dared him to ask for my number. I never gave my phone number to guys and to this day I still don’t know why I did it. I think we are both so happy that I did and it’s amazing how it all worked out.
How did he propose?
We were staying in Seacrest and we walked down to Fonville Press at Alys where they had a wood fired pizza truck. I had no idea that he wanted to go down there so that he could propose at sunset. I had actually told some friends that I was positive he wouldn’t propose on that trip. The whole time we were eating he was in such a rush because he said he wanted to walk over to the beach. As soon as we got the Ocean Green he dropped to one knee and told me that I was his best friend and he wanted to marry me. There was a big group coming up from the beach and they all started clapping. There was also a group of amateur photographers walking around and they caught it all live. We exchanged numbers but we’ve never heard from them. If you out there, we’d LOVE to see those photos!
Why did you choose 30A/Rosemary Beach for the wedding?
I have been in love with 30A ever since I first went there about a decade ago. Ben grew up going to Destin and that area so it’s always been a special place to his family. His mother bought a house in Seacrest in 2009 and lives there full time, and its our favorite place to go and vacation. Since we have moved a lot, we have friends all of the country and we couldn’t think of a better place to bring them all together. It was always the place we wanted to have our wedding.
As you can see, their Rosemary Beach Town Hall Wedding was executed flawlessly by an amazing team of vendors. Their tiny pup Daisy even stole the show! Check out the video sneak peek and photos from their big day.
