About the Owner
Personal Bio: It really is “Avis,” like “Travis.” A southerner from metro Atlanta, Avis was married in 2010 to a military veteran who now serves as a sergeant at the sheriff’s office. Their children are their world- a daughter who was born in January 2015 and a son to follow in 2017. Thankfully, her parents live on 30A and love spending time with her munchkins.. It takes a village! Like many of her brides, family values are a stronghold in Avis’ life!

My Greatest Weakness Is: The pursuit of perfectionism. Thankfully, the older I get, the more I let go.
Something I Would Like People To Know About Me: I’m protective of the people I love. I’m super passionate about people and things. Once I get an idea in my mind, I will do it. I always think, “do it right or don’t do it at all.”
Something I Would Like People To Know About My Business: I pour myself into every event and I take great pride in every generous review. Referrals are the best compliments I could ever receive, and I always feel honored when someone chooses me to help them plan their big day. My social work background sets me a part from other planners because I’m very focused on the overall personal experience and matching personalities with the brides and vendors, not just abilities and style. I want people to make a personal connection and really “get” each other.
Where I Grew Up: Peachtree Corners (Norcross), Georgia
Five Things Most People Do Not Know About Me:
1. I love to scuba dive with my hubby!
2. We went through years of fertility assistance
3. I’m determined to have a studio loft in Atlanta to go back to and visit the city
4. I grew up going on mission trips and have always loved serving others
5. Growing up, I was seriously creeped out about everything! (i.e. Pee Wee Herman, Zoobilee Zoo, dancing elephants in Dumbo, anything anthropomorphism)
