About the Owner

Personal Bio: I was a photographer for a newspaper in high school, and a magazine in college.  However, having two parents with creative careers (journalist Mom, actor Dad), I longed for something more structured.  My first job was for IBM in the UK and after three years, I figured out that wasn’t the path for me.  After a move to Plymouth in Devon, I had to find a new career path.  Somehow I ended up at a Westcountry Television (ITV) and suddenly I felt like I was “home.”  Journalists, talent, and a newsroom.  It was like my parents worlds had collided into the perfect career for me.  Unfortunately, journalists don’t make much money, and I persuaded a cameraman I worked with into shooting a wedding with me for some extra cash.  For years I supplemented my salary with weddings! Then, in 2007, we moved to the Emerald Coast and I began producing wedding films full time.  My interest in photography has come back in recent years because we now shoot with DSLR’s instead of traditional video cameras. However, filming is my passion. I need my pictures to MOVE. And talk. And laugh. And dance. Photos are fab, but hearing a loved one laugh is priceless.
I firmly believe in giving back to our communities. We are very active with the youth in Panama City Beach, and professionally, I give back to the event filmmaking industry by being involved with In[Focus], as a presenter and blogger.
