This quote is one of Shelby’s favorites and after getting to know her her a little better, we understand why because it’s exactly what she’s doing. As the face and name behind Shelby Peaden Events she believes your brand should be a reflection of who you are.
Shelby is a native to the Emerald Coast so she knows better than most 30A is the epitome of a luxury coastal wedding. (That’s why we LOVE that she’s on the 30-A List). With a background in performing arts and interior design she’s always had an eye for detail and over time discovered her real love is creating experiences for people.
She opened the doors to Shelby Peaden Events in February, 2009 and has been curating one of a kind weddings and events ever since. When you work with her you’re getting someone who really cares about you. It’s an important business practice for her to get to know you so she can help you create an experience tailored to your love story.
On top of all that, Shelby prides herself on staying calm and collected despite the high stakes for everything to go perfectly. Once the wedding day has arrived, she’s designed and curated the event, made a plan for it and organized the plan to become a reality. She knows all that’s left to do day of is polish it up to perfection and let the couple enjoy the special day they worked so hard to bring to life.
Knowing she’s one of the best in the business we tried to get Shelby to pick out her proudest moment for the business. As one who is truly a giver of her gift she said, “there has not been one specific moment but rather knowing that I have happy clients when they look back on their wedding day.”
We also asked Shelby about what it means to her to be an elite vendor on the 30a Wedding Co. “Being part of a local group like this in a sense grounds my business. I was born and raised here, have a business here for going on 8 years, and can say that I am part of a group of vendors that is the best of the best.” Shelby, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
