Rosemary Beach Eastern Green Wedding
Another adorable 30A wedding we just can’t wait to share with you – Abigail and Colin’s Rosemary Beach Eastern Green wedding came together perfectly (not to mention Abigail is a stunner!). The outdoor ceremony and reception on the green were tied together to create an evening of love, laughter, and memories of a lifetime. We asked Abigail how they met and why they chose 30A; learn a little more about these lovebirds below!
How did you two meet? Colin and I met in 5th grade on a multi-school field trip, he sat behind me on the bus. We grew up in the same town but went to different elementary, middle and high schools. We reconnected in middle school through sports (he played basketball and I was a cheerleader), and eventually started dating the summer before 10th grade. The rest is history!
How did he propose? We were in Hawaii with my best friend and her husband. We spent the day at Lanikai beach, my favorite place on earth! At the end of the day as the sun was setting, he walked me along the beach with me and got down on one knee with the most beautiful backdrop!
Why did you choose 30A for your wedding day? About 15 years ago, I attended a family wedding on the Eastern Green. The memory has stuck with me ever since, and I never got over how amazingly beautiful it was (and I’ve been to a LOT of weddings!). When it came time to start looking at venues, it was the only place I could see myself getting married- and it was even more magical than I imagined!!
