This beautifully sweet Carillon Beach Wedding was so special and memorable. As Avis Glenister of Carillon Weddings® & Events recalls, “This was a truly incredible family and this couple’s story is something I’ll always hold near and dear to my heart!” Jacob is the founder & CEO of Water282, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to connect American organizations with African villages that are in need of fresh, clean water. These two met in church one weekend while he was back from Africa to spread more awareness of his mission. Jacob does fund-raising and physically builds wells in African villages where clean water is a luxury. Libby & her precious parents have traveled to Africa to see the lives that this organization has changed.
There are quite a few thoughtful water details throughout their wedding, down to the unexpected old well pump in the backyard of their rental home in Carillon Beach. After their wedding, Libby & Jacob were getting ready to leave straight for Zambia after their wedding to live and continue their mission together. Avis recalls, “Couples like Libby & Jacob are exactly why I love what I do! They are an inspirational couple, and I truly feel honored to have met them!”
