Watercolor Inn Wedding
It was Thanksgiving weekend, when Matt and Daisy crossed paths at Lost Pines Resort. Together with new and old friends, under the night sky near the campfire, it was a perfect evening. “Fate took its hand that night and we became friends spending time together exploring Houston,” Daisy said. That friendship started what would become a lifelong journey together.
In the heart of the Holiday season, Daisy and Matt spent an evening with friends attending an event called Lights in the Heights when their lives changed forever. “Matt detoured our route from the crowed streets and picked the perfectly abandoned house that drew just the right amount of light to drop on his knee ‘This night is perfect and you are perfect for me, I want to spend every night for the rest of my life with you’,” Daisy told us. “All of the words that followed after he began were clouded out by my thoughts and pounding heart in sync saying YES, YES, YES!”.
When asked why they chose 30A for their wedding, Daisy said “Matt and I visited the Gulf Coast of Florida in the summer of 2015, and I had seen a place like no where else for the first time. We fell in love with the area and knew we wanted our wedding to be near a beach with the beautiful turquoise waters that the area provides.” This led to their search for the ideal venue along 30A. “We visited Watercolor in August and found everything we wanted and needed for our big day and were married 3 months later!”
The day couldn’t have been possible without their amazing list of vendors, capped off by our 30A-Lister Alena Bakutis Photography. Her images tell the story of their beautiful day below:
